stuff article:

Members of online technology site Geekzone have been reporting problems with the site for a few weeks, and some have been quick to take advantage of the latest fault.

One member posted: "I have successfully submitted an order for a 40" TV and an iPhone, all for the sum of $4.95 delivery which went through on my credit card."

I don't see the thread anywhere. Maybe the moderators took it down.

This would not be surprising if it was the intent of that particular poster to exploit a technical error for personal gain.

If that was the case, IMO that would not fairly represent the vast majority of regular geekzone contributors.

I see. It is not malicious at all.

Not helped at all by the author completely misquoting that thread (this explains why I could not find it), and then subsequently misrepresenting the intent of the poster.

That's the media, can't let the whole truth get in the way of a (good??) storyWink

I actually received a PM and a subsequent phonecall from the reporter to basically confirm what I had said in my original post in the other thread, and "was I expecting to receive the TV and the iPhone"?

Edited: typos

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
