Has anyone seen any open positions to do with customer service/technical support that is part time? (I study at course from 8am-12pm, Mon-Fri)
In short, I'm strugging to find a job in this area that is part time. I have my A+ certifcation, my MCTS in Active Directory and am on my way to MCITP currently.

I applied at Orcon, Vodafone and iiNet, and was only turned down because of the hours that I am at course. I'm really starting to resent my course because of it being such an elephant in my day, but I'm determined to carry on with it since its only another 6-8 weeks.

So if any of you guys (and gals) have any suggestions on where you've seen openings, anywhere between Whangaparaoa and Takapuna/Northcote  (Auckland), please let me know!

You need to open yourself up to CBD Auckland if you want work in a lot of IT shops.

For example ICONZ operate a 24/7 helpdesk environment in CBD Auckland and have a lot of students go through their customer care area. But you'd have to be prepared to come over the bridge.

If there are enough hours to warrant that, then I have no problem heading to the CBD.
