A client unfortunately cannot pay me so I would like to get back the equipment which is still owed to me in full. I was wondering if anyone knows my rights.

Can I just walk in there and take it or what?

On the invoices it states all equipment is owned by me until paid in full, but i've heard that does not really cover you.

You ABSOLUTELY need to talk to a lawyer first if this is your first foray into repossessions.

Their credit is already ruined. I just wanted to grab the hardware before the company had the repo guys come in. I manged to get most of it back, they didn't resist.

Apparently if they don't tell you to leave, you can take it.

Doesn't cover all the labour involved though :/

Ah well :)
