Hi

Have Woosh wireless and can connect to Wifi, however struggle to access the internet. I usually have to turn off modem and then on again (sometimes more than once) and then maybe "Repair" before I can access the internet.

Have just bought a laptop for the wife and same thing happens - connects to modem, but no matter waht, does not connect to internet at all. At least mine still does after going through the above.

Have taken new laptop and modem back to shop and laptop connects to internet there no problems.

I have no idea why I have so many issues connecting to the inetrnet on my laptop and why we can't connect at all on my wife's.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

maybe there are issues with DHCP. you could try assigning static IP addresses on your computers.

If your modem/router uses 192.168.1.1 then try 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.101 as IP addresses on your PCs, and 192.168.1.1 as default gateway.

For DNS Servers try use 202.74.207.10 & 202.74.207.100 which are ns1 and ns2 for woosh.

Hi

Thanks, as I have few clues about routers/modems etc had a computer guy set up with those IP addresses. Just seems really unusual that it will work at the pc shop, but not at home.......
