Something I have found to be a little curious...

Has anyone noticed, since the beginning of the Rugby World Cup, 4 people in high visibility vests, standing on the Auckland Harbour Bridge?

They are literally standing inside a metal cage at the bottom of the structure/frame. It appears they are only there from Fridays through to Sundays.

Wondering if anyone has any idea what this is about? From what I have seen, they literally stand there, looking into the distance from early morning to when the sun sets. Doesn't appear they are doing any surveying of any sort.

If it pays well, I would like to apply  Cool

Nope. Actually, this is a better description. Pretend you are doing the bridge climb. They are near the bottom of the metal structure that you drive past.

I noticed they had 'Security' written on the back of their jackets.  Maybe to stop rapscallions changing the flags on the bridge?

Nice cruisy job, good if you can get it. Bit like those guys driving up and down the Wellington waterfront in their golf cart all day, and maybe picking up an icecream wrapper every 15 minutes.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Great find, thanks! I think they are there 24/7 too.

Nice cruisy job?

Up there in the noise, sun, wind and weather for 8 hours?

Not buying it.
