Is it just me? for a few weeks the site stutters and lags. I think the ads are the problem. PC or Android phone both are the same. It takes ages to be able to scroll down the page or click on links.

Anyone else have this issue?

I often get that problem with joomla websites. I think it could be all the javascript they use.

could be related to heavy javascript use, combined with the antivirus product you have installed. some have javascript scanning engines that really hammer performance. mcafee, avast are a couple i've seen issues with, but both have the ability to 'whitelist' websites - i.e. exclude them from javascript scanning
