First report is that it was "space junk" entering the atmosphere at Hinds (near Temuka) - about 140km away??

I'm in the Council building in the heart of the city yet have not felt any shock or heard any boom. The Press/Stuff site has difficulty serving the page.. and hot update isn't quick enough on the web either...

I am very curious.. Are we under attacked?
