Hey guys,

Anyone own a Go Pro Hero 2? I'm thinking about getting one to make some fun footage on the water, bike and just mucking around. Also where is the best place to buy them considering I want it before xmas :)

I'm looking at this model which does 1080p http://www.silicondirect.co.nz/gopro-hd-naked-hero-camera-free-16gb-sd-card.html

Not sure if I need the 1080p model but what the hey..

Cheers

I have 2 goPro Hero 2 cameras really nice camera. From what i have read about the Hero the major differences are that the UI has been improved and the higher quality sensor both of which i think are worth the extra price.

However there are some trade offs if you want it to be waterproof you will have no sound at all if you want sound there is an included skeleton door which has cut outs but then it will not be waterproof. Not a really big issue but seeing as they make a big deal about the sound quality.

The issue is going to be finding a Hero 2 in NZ most of the stores when i looked my self only had the Hero
