sending email, obviously fake:  mbrelljypkimb@hotmail.com
for all those geeks who receive this email, delete it. I removed the hyper link to keep freitasm happy :D

Hello Friend,

My name is Mark Zuckerberg, Ceo of Facebook. We have recently joined up with The apple company regarding a one-time promotional event today, we are giving away no cost Apple iPhones and iPads to randomly selected people who have been fortunate to be picked as one of our most recent winners for today. We randomly selected users from our systems database and you have matched with our latest drawing.

We have partnered up with Apple inc to advertise their most popular product yet, the Apple iPhone and iPad. Once again, we are operating this campaign for one-day only. All you need to do is CLICK HERE to check out our web site made for this promotion and fill out this short survey to recieve yours for free. Simply make sure you enter your email so we can locate our records to make certain that we have reserved one for you. That is it!

Congrats on winning a free Apple iPhone4 and iPad2. In case you have any query or concerns, feel free to email me back. However, you should claim your free iPhone and iPad first to ensure one will be set-aside for you before the deadline ends. We do understand that you may possibly not receive this email until after the deadline, however, we advise you check the site and enter your email to see if we still have got yours on hold, which we often-times do because others have not claimed theirs in time.

Mark Zuckerberg
CEO, Facebook

Pfft, not even a 4S or an iPad3?

I will say that the grammar & spelling is of a higher standard than most phishing emails.

Sadly I appear not to have been selected :(

I never win these things, and even those Nigerian banker fellows don't seem very interested in me.

Oh well, I presume I will be fortunate enough to win one soon enough, and maybe even help out some Nigerian's with large amounts of money to shift through my bank account if I'm lucky enough to be selected by them.

Incidentally, what was the quick survey? Just your bank account and/or credit card details and a small deposit to prove they are genuine?

In sitting here next to my hot Russian wife while taking Viagra. I keep checking the time on my cheap Rolex watch waiting for that Nigerian prince to send me my millions. This deal would really help with keeping track of these things! Oh I think my medical degree just arrived in the mail... yuuusss!

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Ive been fortunate too, have had my banks email me saying that a recent security check on their system has revealed some vulnerabilities and as a precaution, I need to "click here" to log in and confirm my username/password.

LOL I got one of these once and spent the next 30min typing in abusive user names and passwords, then because it was a .co.nz site I rang the hosting company and got it shut down :)

Hey can you send me the link?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.
