hio77: DLM-1 doesnt look impossible for that line, graphs look pretty nice.
your SNR is sitting at 10, rather than 12? and you say you havent tweaked it? that seems a little odd.
the one little spike of RFI doesnt look to have affected your line what was your error rate like on DLM-2? (i assume it made it to that at some point)

No I haven't tweaked anything. It just did it's auto re-sync the other day and went from SNR 12 to 10, sync rate went up from 43 to 47. I had 0 CRC errors and minimum FEC on previous sync which was 43Mbps, 12 SNR, INP 1. now FEC is much higher, CRC is still OK

Latency was 8 before last sync as well

DLM doing odd things once again i suppose then.... give it a bit longer and see what it does.. sounds like DLM is up to something..

that looks like PRGT (or something like that - i used to use it too.) its graphing can be a fair bit off if your using the free version, just a warning on that.

as for your SNR changes, and error spikes, wut, is indeed the only words for it.. looks like something on your link went iffy..

however! 3 SNR and only 0.04 CRCPM! that could be wonderful! lol..

keep an eye on it, see if its a time of the night sorta thing..

Correct that is PRTG

Im liking the speed, hopefully the link will hold but i dont think thatll be likely with and SNR of 3

with that error rate, it should be able to hold.. i suspect with the way your lines bouncing around, it wont unfortunately however..

Well after A 15min wait to speak with Snap, I spoke it a rather nice support guy who's going to start an 'extended line test' to watch for drops etc as he could see my line dropping regularly and will call back tomorrow.

Looks like you're getting bad RF interference from something. And it's causing enough problems that the bit loading is well down on 2 of the frequencies.

The problem is that the error rate is just an average over the lifetime of the connection. It doesn't give you any indication of what the spikes are like. And 3db is not very much of a buffer.

Had no re-syncs since my last post 2 days ago, that's what I get

are these dynamically updated without re-syncs?

yes, his graph was pretty clean however.. so that was about the only point to draw conclusions upon.

@HITMAN what are you using to show thoses graphs?

SNR can change without a resync, AFAIK, bitswap cant however.

Bitswap upstream changes all the time here, no resync.

Yes it looked good, although there was an RFI line. But the spectrum is only a snapshot at a particular moment. It doesn't give you any idea of previous spikes or the potential for more.

Bitswap can also change without a resync - I used to regularly have bitswap off immediately after a sync and later find it on. I wonder if that line actually reports whether bitswap has been used rather than whether it is possible. AFAIK there is no negative impact from having bitswap available (actually I don't think there is a negative to actually using it either) so there is no reason for either the modem or the DSLAM to have the capability off if both support it.
