@JJNZ

I have seen the same SNR fluctuations on my Fritzbox but a bit more over the top. from 12dB to -1 and the line can handle it sometimes lol. Only had a few drops from it which has ruined my chances of ever staying on DLM-1

Man, DLM makes no sense to me. It seems to follow some pretty illogical and inconsistent rules!

Need to have the option to turn DLM off on specific ports. This setup is not working for most of us.

Fibre is going to be amazing but might be boring if you enjoy fiddling :P. It will just work lol

Well it took 50 days of not touching any settings, but for the last 4 days I have been on DLM-1.  This I would imagine is the best I will get?

Maybe a tweak to increase the upload speed.. Maybe there is an upstream margin setting?? It would be nice to get the max.. just for tweaking sake Tongue Out

Got another resync last night (I guess 900 CRC errors an hour was too much!), still on DLM-2, but bitswap is off and my errors are down to <10 per hour again! That was a weird connection!

I guess the good news is that DLM seems to be doing something...

Nice...  I guess I'll just have to resist the urge to do anything to mine too!

Sweet!! I reckon DLM wasn't working over the last couple of weeks eh...

I called Snap about my connection this week. Apparently I'm on FF or FS or something? Apparently this is better than DLM-2 but not as good as DLM-1. I'm not familiar with the FF / FS thing...

Maybe i didn't have enough line uptime, or DLM failed to do its job.

FS for Full speed profile? I am not sure.

DLM is supposed to make changes every week (assuming there is a better profile available which isn't deemed to be unstable already).

Yeah, I think they did mention full speed. What does that actually mean?

"Fastpath" is something I've seen referenced a few times in VDSL reading... though I think the reference was that you can't get it on VDSL; And that was not in NZ, lol.  I think it just means interleaving off on ADSL?

I'm still trying to figure out what DLM considers "acceptable" MTBE...

@Allan: how long had you been on DLM1 when you took those screenshots?

Ah right, I should have read your post properly!   What were the error rates like on DLM2\3 before the change? The look quite low on all profiles except DLM1
