CurlyBurl: I've spent about an hour comparing prices and data usage and other information for the largest ISPs in New Zealand and have found that Snap seem to offer a very good deal - 580GB a month with no traffic shaping and unlimited, unmetered Youtube usage for $145 monthly.

Where do you see this plan?
DravidDavid: I'm voting for Slingshot. I might be a little bias considering I work for them. But I was a perfectly valid customer a year before I did on their unlimited plan and I'm still an avid fan today.
Slingshot are delivering unlimited broadband at a reasonable price even when Telecom (the guys that own the place!) told all BigTime customers (including me) it was no longer a profitable business venture.
BadBadBadMonkey:
Right, that "unlimited" broadband limited only by the massive traffic shaping applied to you and all the others in the pool trying to download the internet? Give me a break.
Slingshot's pricing and plans are uncompetitive now. Especially their naked options. Since they're not offering premium service, and shape the hell out of traffic even on capped plans, they just don't stack up as a sensible option at the present time.
