CADMAX:
We are stuck on adsl with a max speed of 5mbps down and 0.7mbps up.
Its good for where we are but i would like faster seeing as i'm working from home.

If you look at a map and look up Gebbies Valley you will see where i'm at.
We dont get Cell coverage so i think we will be out of luck with the RBI system.
The out look for the next 5 years seems to be you have adsl thats it.

Are there any Wireless ISPs with coverage of your area?

No :(

Farm side but it would be cheaper to rent in town than use them!!

I was thinking of someone like amuri.net i.e. one of the fixed terrestrial wireless operators. Not sure what others operate in the Canterbury region but Google might help. If there are other people in your area in a similar situation maybe they could be persuaded to extend their coverage? Or you could club together and build your own :-)
