Meez: Someone else said wireless.  I've explained what happens with my computer.  I don't know what else to say.

I would suggest you just post and start over.

From where the internet comes into your place, where the cables run, into what devices it runs all the way to your computer and any other devices you have. Just follow the cable if you need to.

But as othes say, if you can get ADSL its probably better UNLESS you are on a Conklin roadside cabinet (which we may be able to help determine for you if we have an address) where wireless may be better.

Basically they need to fix the upload speed.
0.08 upload is not enough for a voip connection. If it is that slow, it probably means the tower is having a problem receiving data being sent to it from your rooftop radio.
This could be due to many issues but is often radio interference or congestion.

You need an upload of at least a 128k / 0.13mb to support a voip connection.

Thanks for the help.

Thinair got back to me and said there should be a fix arriving by Tues/Wednesday. I'll have to wait and see.

My original post was just weird connection problem. Wireless ISP was added in by someone else.

If you must use wireless, dump thin air and switch to inspire.

Meez: Thanks. I guess I have to go back to Telecom.

Their tech. doesn't fill me with confidence. He's been back here several times for mainly the same problems and he usually looks terrified when the problem is explained to him.

Not surprising if you expect him to fix a wireless problem that has nothing to do with Telecom's service.

Do you have your issue sorted?

Nobody on here is able to offer you any help at all because you've been unable to answer basic questions such as the type of connection you have. If you would like help you're really going to need to provide answers to these very basic questions.
