Get a Vodafone 4G hotspot. That will be fast enough for gaming.

Can you see many wifi hotspots in your apartment?  You could try doorknocking your neighbours - left right, upstairs and downstairs and ask if you could share their internet and pay for their broadband?

Have investigated this issue and can advise the following:

  1. There is copper network at this address

  2. There are working services at this address

  3. Our pre-qualification tool (that RSPs use to check availability) shows that VDSL & ADSL services are available at this address but that MANUAL pre-qual confirmation required.

Point 3 may have been the source of the confusion.

There are three service requests in progress at this address with three different RSPs so the OP 's issue was likely a communication / understanding issue by the RSP sales team.

Have DM'd the OP to check that they have a service order in the works.
