5 Months and counting here.

It seems as each stage in the process is completed it takes another few weeks for the next step to progress and my experience is very poor communication between the RSP and the Fibre installers adding further complications and delay between each step.

If you are reffering to the Common Network Installion Teams (Civils/ Tube Jointers / Tube Testers / Backhaul fibre haulers/ Foward fibre haulers / Fiber jointers / Fibre testers / & QA staff ) that build out the network down the streets, they have nothing to do with RSPs (there is no communication betwwen them nor any delays because of this ) as they work for the LFCs and therefore Crown Fibre Holdings.

Only when LFC & CFH is happy with the test and QA resualts is the LFC allowed to release the area to the RSPs for the acceptance of requests to connect.

The only actual delays from that stage onwards is due to additional Concent, Design and Build requirements when it comes to extending the common network on and into Private property. This takes time as the major stake holders (LFCs, Property Owners & tenents etc) have to be happy with each stage.

Yes this seems where all my delays and alot of others here on Geekzone have experienced.

Have been in contact with Chorus who looked into it for me. It's due for build completion tomorrow (7th of March). It then needs the records updated and handover to CFH and commissioned 5th Jun.

Seems like a long time for completion until comission (2 months).

Not proud of this but joining the frustration wenting, have a customer ordered in October last year still in """""design phase"""""", another ordered in January this year Chorus has yet to get in touch with the customer.

Very frustrating....

Im in this boat also. I get word of something happening every 2 months or so then nothing...

It does seem to vary a lot and I guess it depends on how many chefs have input on the brew (how complicated your install is)

My brothers install took 7 days from date of order to job complete and being online.
