alexisj:vexxxboy: i would go with Snaps 50/20 plan. It's the same price, may be even a little cheaper, than Telecoms 30/10 plan and you can add on Snaps unlimited youtube for $5
I was drifting towards Snap, but the upfront (ie:router) costs will take > 12 mths to recoup. I guess the further questions are - is Snap support good enough? Is the Snap supplied router sufficiently better than the Telecom one to warrant the extra $275?
Regards,
Alexis

NzBeagle: The Fritzbox is pretty great at everything except WiFi, I use UniFi APs instead so it's not an issue for me, but something to consider. It's not horrible, it's just not as good as I wanted, although does do Dual Band which is nice. I'm not sure how that compares to the Telecom option.

I have a longish narrow house and the router / office is at one end. I need decent wifi coverage for the family. Is the telecom TG587n any better or will I need to resort to something like airport express?
Apologies for all the questions, but if I don't get thisright first time, my life won't be worth living :)

Alexis
