@cbfd - few months ago, it was their 'temporary fix' for a water logged line but it's still in place just like that. (I have many more pics - not that I'm gathering evidence! undecided )

... the depressing thing is that nobody seems to really want to take ownership of the problem as I 'get a service'

gotta love that saying...'best effort' - why doesn't it apply to my payments? wink

I'd really like to see what it takes to have the line replaced, when I talk to the engineers that come to 'patch up' - each and every one of them agree that the line needs replaced but until it fails completely all they can do is dig more holes and tape up the leaks.
