that fibre cable goes right past my house damn it!.. telstra also has an unused fibre ring going around Marlborough, unused! i dont know why they cant trial fibre to the premises here, id be the first to sign up :-)  That and the fact we arnt getting adsl2+ anytime soon, it dosnt sound like its anything great anyway from the statistics on the other forum, an average of 800kbps upgrade in speed, woohooo
