michaelmurfy: It isn't the worst thing out - Global Mode as you call it is really just a marketing statagy and no where as powerful than going for a service like dns4me.net or unotelly where you can use more services and also more devices (like Chromecasts for example).
Wendy: Hi guys,
Just to clarify WXC does provide UFB in Tauranga. Both Chorus and UFF. :D

Did an address check on WXC last night......the results weren't good!! Perhaps a call is needed....?

If the info in the Chorus (or other LFCs) database isn't up to date or is missing details, you may get a false negative. Give us a call and we can at least confirm availability once we know what the address is, even if we have to do a bit more digging to find out. :)
nakedmolerat: What about MyRepublic - they are fiber ready nationwide???

Global mode works with Chromecast and sites are being added regularly. Not sure where you are getting your facts from.
Anyway back to to your original broadcast OP.

Dairyxox: Just chiming in to say TrustPower are not that bad. They have a nz based call center, fast connections, and discount deals if you have other services with them.
They the primary reason that Tauranga is (one of) the most competitive broadband pricing areas in NZ.
Aredwood: At least you don't live in Whanganui, As there are currently no ISPs that are connected to Chorus UFB there. Not intending to troll Whanganui.

Wanganui is a UFF area.
