xpd: Look for their vehicles. Will have signage on them.
Then block them in when its knock off time.......

Not for me. Enable dug holes outside every second house. Fed cable street corner to street corner, sealed and sowed grass over filled on holes. No mess, no issues, no inconvenience

surfisup1000: What you describe sounds quite awful.

I don't get why they would block the road.

I should have mentioned its a no exit street, hence why the road gets blocked when they work at one end.

msukiwi: Most of the vehicles around here had no signage!
Amazingly inefficient too...dig...leave weeks - seal - then dig again...on new sealed bit the same week...then rinse and repeat!
3 different sealing contractors so far!

At least your road got sealed in between! (yes I know its impractical to seal the road in between all their work...) We live on a steep-ish road so when ever it rains all the shingle and dirt in the trenches washes down to the bottom of the road, luckily we are at the top of the hill.

We always knew there would be a bit of disruption, and that was worth it for what the benefits of fibre.

Hi Nate,

You should have heard from someone in the Chorus build team today with an update as to what is going in in your street.
Unfortunately we ran into issues in Richardson Road that had a knock-on effect - delaying the completion of the build in your street.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

regards

^GL

Thanks for sorting it out, I call from the build team, also had a visit from one of the contractors on site this afternoon.
Much appreciated.
