hio77: would be interesting to see how long certain isps take to catch up on the peering.....

We will be establishing our peering very shortly :) Though it looks like they are also peering with the route servers too which helps.

Not a Spark retail connection, but it's just as bad for me on a gigabit GGI line as well. Was fine prior to the AUS delivery starting.

Edit: Tried twice to get the formatting to look nice. Evidently Geekzone isn't having any of it today.

Most streams are buffering on and off constantly for me for the last week or so.
The odd stream is ok

I get the issue on my Vodafone Cable and on 2degrees 4G in Wellington.

I called Vodafone about it and they had the same issue on the same streams I gave them examples of.
But they said its a Twitch issue.

I filled out a Twitch Video Buffering Information form but who knows what will come of that.

Not sure where to go to from here.

Any help appreciated.

Regards
Luke

I've been in contact with Twitch staff about this. They're apparently aware of the issue, and are looking in to it. Whether that was just them trying to make me go away, or they're genuinely looking into it, I don't know.
I'd imagine that considering the costs of their Sydney delivery system, they're working to sort it so they get the most out of it.

Every time you're watching Twitch and it buffers, report it. The greater awareness they have of the problem the better.

Did you get any update on this?

Ahh, guessing this is why I've had so much trouble streaming source quality recently. Usually buffers every 5-10 seconds regardless of device. Was fine prior to this.

Connection info: Orcon UFB previously 30/10 now 100/20

For the last week Twitch has been impossible to watch. Buffers every 3 or 4 seconds. No problems in the last few years, even with only ADSL2.
