given the timing this will likely be the increase of range for VDSL that have pinged you "within range"

Are you in Fibre zone? 

 

If you do don't bother with VDSL. 

 

WIth Fibre the off peak speed is sick!

Lol I have giga fibre. During peak hours it's no different from ADSL for casual browsing.

 

*[yes for downloading/uploading it will hit the max of whatever the server can provide - adobe and sony are pretty fast, but web browsing is no different]

 

But can you get fibre? If you can don't bother with VDSL
