I still don't get how link aggregation on the LAN side is affecting your ability to tag a VLAN on the WAN side?! Does the Netgear firmware suck that bad?!
Yes I think it might, fyi here is a snapshot of the support from netgear saying that its a limitation of the R8500, even tho its a $800 router. Im going to try what sbiddle suggested and place a
MIKROTIK RB260GS managed switch between the ONT and the R8500, VLAN tag the Mikrotik, take the tagging off the R8500 and see if port aggregation works between the R8500 and ReadyNas.
