As part of the installation, about time to upgrade that filter - I have actually seen the older ADSL ones go horribly wrong..

You do seem handy enough to pickup one for $20 and throw it on in there though?

Kinda a cheeky setup there, personally im always a fan of sticking the filter at the source and having the straight twisted pair from there to the jackpoint.

Seeing your linestats itself, i expect a vdsl installation will go through, you will see an increase.

Give it a shot.

Guessing your in a urban area? few characteristics of your line just looks a little heavy for in a rural area. Urban you will likely see less of a jump in speed.

Not urban - semi rural and outside of the scope of UFB so VDSL is welcomed.

Going to look at a clean Cat6 run from the splitter to the modem which should help matters while I look for the best VDSL option.
