sbiddle, knowledge 'in the industry' isn't good enough. This is a public project on taxpayer money, and a little bit of accountability - even just some public status updates - is NOT too much to ask.

 

Negotiations were under way between players and the govt and CFH have always said this was the case. I'm not sure what else can really be said.

Nothing compared to some of the alarmist nonsense they trot out.

I was quite pleasantly surprised how small some of the places being targeted are. Plenty of towns I wasn't expecting were on the list which will be a nice surprise for some communities.

I saw that too, good to see some smaller places getting it that missed out before.
