And as has been knowledge in the industry for the last month or so the announcement has been made this morning for UFB2.

sbiddle, knowledge 'in the industry' isn't good enough. This is a public project on taxpayer money, and a little bit of accountability - even just some public status updates - is NOT too much to ask.

 

 

Negotiations were under way between players and the govt and CFH have always said this was the case. I'm not sure what else can really be said.

 

Anyway it's now official this morning (which has been known for some time) so it is a bit of egg on the face of the Greens.

I was quite pleasantly surprised how small some of the places being targeted are. Plenty of towns I wasn't expecting were on the list which will be a nice surprise for some communities.
