i recall this happening to someone else awhile back...

Turned out what it was is, Checkmate (the tool they have screenshotted) shows the speed profile as set in their system, NOT what's actually provisioned.

It's difficult to get chorus to check for this inconsistency.

now if only tools actually pulled from live data universally.

paging @chorusnz

i'd also recommend cropping your address out :)

As what @hio77 said the RSP (compass) needs to still get it checked on the Chorus Side

kinda.

that screen is checking with chorus... they just don't dynamically generate the profile but provide the billed for profile.

i hoped it would be fixed now...

Thanks for all the help here, so in a nutshell what I need to do is ask them to get an actual

update from @ChorusNZ, rather than a static loaded profile from their dashboard app.

Thanks @freitasm could have had bigger problems than half a net speed....

Cheers

Hi iDruid,

It's

unlikely not to be set as it's showing in checkmate, as the provisioning is automated.

But happy to check this and eat my words if I'm wrong.

just private message me your address.

Hi Zoners,

I wanted to update this post to explain my experience, I never got a connection working to

a satisfactory level, hence i decided to go back to my previous ISP whom welcomed me with

open arms, my question now is.

1) New ISP is *&^% and said they would communicate all changeover to conincide with 30 day requirement.

2) Old ISP )(*&^ calims new ISP *&^% never advised until actual changeover date.

3) Old ISP is demanding 30 day payment for arrears from date of advice apparently only given on the day of changeover.

4) So New ISP  *&^% never advised old ISP )(*&^, so customer is left stranded with a bill that really should have been

    taken care of.

P.S - Since i have reverted back bang 100/20 and better !!

Anyones thoughts? hope ive explained that enough.

Regards

The LSP will only advise GSP on the day I am taking over this connection and this is perfectly normal

Hi @linux,

Ok so i got a commitment from new ISP on the lovely chat scene that they would

take the responsibility to advise, have i been lead down the garden path?

Does this hold no weight?

My experience over the last 6 has been terrible.

How could a GSP talk to the LSP about your account? They won't and never will your account is private to you as the account holder

The only thing the GSP is grab the connection when you request service from a new retail ISP

I would tell the failed ISP that they never delivered the promised service so you owe them nothing and then see what compromise they come back with.

hi @linux @richms,

I have tried to explain the situation to both, im old school if someone says

they are going to do something then i expect it, (prob my mistake).

Both ISP are in debate with each other about what did or didnt transpire, I

just want an end to it but thought the word or willingless to commit to it

might mean something.

I must be living in a dreamworld then.

Over It
