Set him up with a plex player - that works great for me even pushing 4k rips out my connection to other peoples places. Gotta love that half gig upload capability ;)

 

Thats what we keep telling him, if he gets online he can have access to almost anything he could ever want to watch..... but hes stubborn when it comes to telcos and giving them money ;)
