ummm, was just trying to clarify your photo, "Drop off" is your preferred drop off, as it seems a bit back to front from the original photos

Yes, it is the preferred drop off as it sounded easier for an install from the Chorus installer.
It seems that the street fibre was wired there as that is where it is serviced from, maybe because it is an old house but kind of strange how the copper is serviced from the other one but wired into the house from the drop off by our driveway haha.

So just for clarity, ive had a look at our network architecture maps.

The copper pillar and lead in for this address are in fact both on the right hand side of the property (which is why the Fibre dropoff has been put there). There is a pillar on the left which is why Camo260 thought that was his copper lead in but it appears not to be the case.

@cyril7 so the red circle named “Drop off” is where Camo260 believed his existing copper pillar and lead in come from and where he would like for his Fibre dropoff to be. The circle labelled “Our street Fibre” is actually where his existing pillar and lead in are and where we have put the Fibre dropoff. ^Richard

Ha, that is what i thought all along, so clearly the explanation by Camo260 was not clear, ie the copper goes under his drive and as it would appear to a location not far from where he wanted it.

are you talking from looking at the picture or standing on the street looking at the property?

so they are not the ones on the right side of the driveway (look from the street) in the first set of pictures but the one in the small red circle in the first pictures.

Richard checked and the copper was actually wired in to the house from the right side.
I was confused because I had been told it was wired in from the point left side and needed to get them swapped haha
Hopefully the next install goes smoothly this time.

Talking from the perspective of the screengrab of his property:

If you are looking as per the photos at the top of the thread. The pillar pictured is not his. The one circled in red (that you can barely see) is. ^Richard

Its all come down to confusion over how the existing copper network was run. Honestly its not all that intuitive given the locations of those two pillars, but hey, that's 20 year old network design for you 😅. ^Richard
