Thanx you were right about the outage.

Today  I get right thru to the "Review and confirm"  but just get  a purple circle and loading  and that's it.  tried it on  IE, Opera and Chrome browsers . Turned off the  ad blockers.

Think I'll give it a miss  until the end of June

Yup, i had a call asking me why it wasnt working early in the morning... so it was very much top of mind!

I'll ask the team to look into the flow double check it's working correctly, that journey i don't directly look after anymore so It's kinda had to picture where it's going wrong - it's a fast moving space!

This ordering site is still not working.  Still getting the spinning circle and loading.   Will have to leave it util  July now  as going away  in the next couple of weeks .

One question  the Secondary Number in one of the packages, is this a second number on a second analog port on the ONT or is it  overlayed on the primary number a bit like call waiting on the main analog port??

Typically fibre is run to a cabinet or cabinets (or a pit) in a subdivison depending on the amount of houses in the area, then from there they run microducts to the boundary of each property, these are just tiny tubes not fibre. When someone orders fibre they have to figure out how to get from the boundary to the house, either by trenching or drilling etc, then they use compressed air to blow a fibre down the microduct to the house.

They don't run a fibre to every address assuming it'll be used eventually. Often the microduct ends between two properties to service both. Thinks can get tricky with shared driveways and apartments etc.

Not sure what is happening at your address but this is normally what happens.

For me they just thrust the fibre from the street to my house so there wasn't even a trench to worry about.

DM me your details and I'll have a look at the calls.

The secondary number in the connector pack is delivered on the same port.

Finally been able to order Fiber from Spark   on Friday.  Scoping is June 24 and hopefully install July 07.

A new Chorus tech came to install next doors fiber on Thursday  and after an hour of digging and phoning people went away  and didn't come back.  I think he like the last guy has come to the same  conclusion that there is no fiber in the street so will be interesting on July 07 when  mine is to be installed.

As part of the install quite often they will only install the conduit, then blow the fibre as required from the FAP

You were correct with this. It appears that our street is one of the few without the storks  in it. The lead tech who did this Know  about it but the other two didn't  which maybe the reason that next door still hasn't got fiber.

Fiber was installed today   some time earlier than the July 7 date originally  given.   They could get the fiber thru the old copper duct as there seemed to be a blockage  so they trenched from the other side of the section.  Did a really goo job and in a month you won't be able to see where they dug up the front lawn.   They started about 2.00pm yesterday and were gone by 10.30 this morning.  Fiber phone came on  about 2 hours later.

The only odd thing is that my account page shows "Unplan Netflix Fibre 100 with Landline 12 months"  but I got an email from Netflix saying that "your Netflix account is no longer linked to your partner offer. " and have just been billed $14.99 by Netflix.  Is this normal ??

The second number will be handy  in a couple of years time when my wife retires and gives back our main number.

Thanx for your help.
