Want the best ping times to Sydney? Move there! ;) Even the best ISPs can't do anything about the speed of light in a fibre cable.

But seriously, read the guide and listen to Murfy.

Yea basic rule of thumb is:

  1. Avoid Myrepublic
  2. Avoid the power company (primary) bundled internet such as nova or trust energy.
  3. Go with the big players (No particular order just based on reviews here on GZ)

    1. Spark/Bigpipe/Skinny
    2. Vocus (Orcon, Slingshot etc.)
    3. 2degrees
    4. Voyager

  4. Vodafone is fine but with my experience, they are finnicky and customer support is meh.
  5. Read Murfy's guide

For a gamer reliability is more important than whether or not its 55ms or 50ms ping to Sydney etc.
