the new provider wont even care there is ADSL there. they will install fiber and you will end up with both services installed and working. once fiber is working you cancel ADSL.

 

 

I guess you pay for a months ADSL that you don't need if you do it this way.

 

 

Or you frame it as paying for a minimised risk of not having Internet.
