The RRP is $9+GST so I see your point - you can cut an end off a c13/c14 cable and wire it up to a 3pin socket from burnings for about the same price

Unless you are installing it for someone else, since that would then be electrical work so you cant do it for hire without the right qualifications.

I think I paid around $5 or so for a similar cable from PB tech last time I needed one.

Yup in which case id just order off CDL
