PhilANZ: Is there an alternative to ppoe available as standard, or does it require a new router?

My previous machine was a ProBook. I thought it should be safe given HP's early reputation - but I said I never wanted another one after that experience.

There are plenty of ProBooks around, the new G9 with 12th gen are all available now, and pricing is pretty sensible. 

 

 

Ah, looks like they've only just updated their site. Few weeks ago, they were not available and our supplier had been told there wouldn't be any G9's and would be replaced with Elitebook range...... interesting :) Will go hassle supplier now :D
