Has anyone actually been charged for such a callout by their fibre provider?

 

House we moved into had the fiber cut at the ONT, ISP said there'd be a fee for the repair which I expected yet I've had no such bill.  They also replaced the ONT at the same time as mine was going to get upgraded at some stage anyway.

UPDATE: Technicians from Chorus came to my house, within 10 minutes swapped out old ONT Type 100 with a new ONT Type 400. Wished they swapped to the ONT Type 110 for Hyperfiber 10G instead. Oh well. 

 

Pretty sure they just remoted in and checked the fault log before sending their team to replace. Entire process of contacting my ISP (Slingshot) to getting unit replace was approx 1 week.
