When we replaced our driveway the fibre failed. I took photos before ripping up the driveway to show how shitty the original install was - sitting in a sawcut in the driveway and, and so close to the surface you could see and touch it.
I logged it with Chorus via Spark from memory. In the end I don't recall paying that much - perhaps a couple of hundred or so. As a bonus U was able to get the Chorus contractor to put the new cable through conduit supplied by me in the basecourse of the new driveway.
