we also have three different physical 3G networks do we not (well, actually 4 if you count EVDO too, although that will be shut down son).
Ok so the 2D 3G network has low coverage at the moment (but growing), but the other two have 97% population coverage which is pretty good.

and this article from last year says

per cent of Finns live within a 3G network coverage area"

A little out of date, but the number is 97%+ in NZ, so what makes you think Finland has better 3G coverage than NZ?

For all of the people ranting that the EU has data, when you look elsewhere....like Canada (Bell, Telus and Virgin), or even Australia (Telstra) we're actually not doing too badly:

If there's one thing I notice about NZer's, it's that we complain far too much, yet we aren't prepared to do anything about it; Perhaps we stopped comparing and started doing?

Just look at that thread about the indian telco guy to see what happens when people talk about doing.

The pacific fiber people have been talking a lot, no doing yet.

2 degrees are doing, yet there is bitching about their doing not being enough doing because it only works some places, or its not cheap enough still or not enough gigs still.

It seems that when people do in NZ, that gets even more complaints rather than a well done response.
