Evilg: Okay... here's the stats

Up speed 716000 , down speed 7160800, SNR margin 25.5, Loop att. 18.5

Haven't checked regarding the alarm side of things, but I doubt it (will check soon)

Things are a little faster today, with 6.5mbps up and .5 down.... still I would have thought it would be quicker here

That is 7megs down, 700k up. You have such a high noise margin that I think you could get better speed with a different modem, although you could check again when it slows down since apparently you have intermittent issues there and throughput can be related to the sync speed. Have you checked that every single phone device has a working filter?

Time to find a new industry!

Hi there,

The issues are not intermittent and I have definately isolated them to the modem. The last post I made, I had managed to get a 14Mb connection, however I am encountering corrected blocks.... just unsure if there are too many (how many is too many?)

I have the house isolated at the moment, so phones are not part of the equation.

Thinking about going to a dynalink rt1320 and wrt54gl combo as it appears that Draytek hasn't got very good firmware
