freitasm:Zeon: Remember when they gagged Geekzone with the threat of court action about threads which talked of their shoddy service.. Mauricio made a blog post about it even. You get what you pay for.....
Geekzone has never (so far) received a gag order from any company or individual.
We did have instances of users requesting discussions they initiated to be removed.

I presume they are wholesaling through Orcon as they already colocate @ Orcon's data center?
Hi Jonathan Spence.
Can I see this gage order and threat of court action from Hosting Direct towards Geekzone?
Who told you that we gagged Geekzone? That's hilarious as this NEVER happened, whoever told you this is full of it, I doubt it came from Mauricio.
Where would one find this blog post?
michaelmurfy: Just a heads up, the first link - has Malware attached to it, and I suggest you get it removed to avoid those Windows Users going there and getting infected.
On the plus side though, I found out my Debian Computer has a crapload of Trojans.

I went to that link, and got that popup and page too. Does that mean I am infected? I have run Microsofts internet security software, but it hasn't picked up anything. What software is the best way to check for malware?

Not unless you downloaded and ran the exe it prompted you to run.
BlakJak: For the record the registrar for internet.geek.nz are well onto it, if the registrant don't sort their stuff within 48 hours there'll be further action. Nice to see.
