NzBeagle: + 1 for snap, switched from Telecom's AYCE plan to snap, and I can have two 360's playing MW2 while being host to 18 player game. Overseas hosted games have also improved. Central Auckland location.

Hey can you post a tracert to us.battle.net on Snap in Auckland?

On Windows:
Start menu > Run > cmd > tracert us.battle.net

Here's what it looks like on Telecom for example

Tracing route to us.battle.net [12.129.242.40] over a maximum of 30 hops:

 15     *        *        *     Request timed out.

The last few hops don't respond to ICMP so just stop it after that.

Want to see if your traffic still goes AK > CHC > AK > rest... or if their AK handover is live.

Yeah see that first "external" hop is 40ms higher than my first hop on Telecom ADSL in Auckland, chiefly because Snap's handover from Telecom wholesale is in Christchurch.. so for Auckland Snap users traffic to say Blizzard US servers  goes AK > CHCH > AK > US.

Apparently Snap have been developing handover in more locations around the country, just not active yet.
