Although this can be terribly inaccurate - this is after a complete manual clearing of the cache - I get the same whether I use Firefox or IE7.

Yeah I get that a lot too with the jetstreamgames.co.nz/speed test it only clears if I restart the machine!

i quite like using a lot of the speed tests from this site as many of them also provide upload speeds also

i find the NZDSL speed test really up and down, it can sometimes show my speed as being really slow even when i know it isn't (from running downloads either side of doing the test)

Yep they are. But if you've changed from a plan to another (which I did) or you are a new customer, you will be upgraded within 24 hours, which is what happened with me :-)
