So did it ever come right or are you still stuck with a limited SNRM?

Got resynced last night, but for some reason my fritz was unresponsive this morning. After the reboot I've had a 4mbit speed drop! I think we can now safely say that that kind of drop in SNRM is a BAD thing! :D

My guess is that your line has deteriorated - thus the weird and fluctuating SNRM lately. DLM has lower the sync to try to restore the target sync but has underestimated how much bandwidth to drop. I wouldn't be surprised if it drops again on your next resync.

nope, im sitting at 52mbit on 17a

notice the pretty-much max point of 10 bits that magically appeared there?

i was gonna have my profile reset again because of it actually.. i kept being lazy and not doing it, then 17a popped... to loose 17a and possibly get another 10mbit or so or not.. its a tricky one..

oh and in reference to steves idea, quite possibly however mine was artificially induced..

Unlikely. This has happened before and a resync cleared it right up. This time I left it to see what happened.

im a bit tempted to drop my SNR to 9, that would get me close to maxing out by my estimate... maybe im making a bit bloated assumptions there though..

Do it man! Also, now that you have your physical line issues sorted, a port reset is likely to put you back on 17a much faster.

idk.. be it chorus have recently changed things a bit.. i might have a better chance..

but ild still prefer not to take another 3~4 months to get there!

kinda been hoping since DLM dropped it, it would go, hey, lets try pushing it back up again, so been giving it stints of stable solid connection, think im 13 days solid since last play.... or ild get a shot at the 9db SNR profile like i had on 8b for some time there..

ironicly, when i had the higher speed, my CRCPM was solid zero..

thinking back to when i had my line at the old place, i could actually notice the errors.. but then, that line wasnt the greatest..

its more the, i *should* pretty max out without SNR tweaking.. so why am i not standpoint.. and the fact that i have to walk all the way to the modem to unplug it, you know how much effort that takes!

yep, i highly underestimated the increase..

waiting on CRCs to drop.. sitting at 16 right now with seems absurd...

looks like my bit graph hardly changed in the 8b range, which i was accounting for also increasing in my math..

still settling.. but by math the 15 min (which is less averaged and more of an exact value) looks like my errors didnt increase much after the initial burst..
