If you have the tools to do cat 5/5e/6 termination then I recommend doing a run from the ETP to a wall plate.

 

Old credit cards a very effective punch down tool and you can get 2 way 3M Scotchlocks from JA Russell. 
Make sure you call them squishies otherwise the guys at the wholesaler wont have any idea what your on about haha.
