just reset the modem and the speeds have returned to 63 down and 11 up, dont know what the problem was or ever will be but am happy to see the speeds return
ddDLM is pretty active on my line since it went live in late April:
My personal experience is that ddDLM will try to establish the upper limit and lower limit of stability vs performance with pretty big swing in sync speed. Since ddDLM went live on line in late April:
I can only hope that ddDLM is doing the right thing. So far it seems to be as it is getting to a spot where CRC rate is low but still with decent sync speed.

Due to the share amount of interest into depth changes which is one thing of ddDLM i'm not so clued up on.
I have now added logging on all Interleaving related values, Will be interesting to see what ddDLM does with this.
for my ADSL connection it is practically moot but is logging against that too since i use the same daemon against both modems.
I'm not sure if I'm really a fan of the power scaling on the Depth values, i may end up splitting them into a different graph. Did not make sense to use the same axis for it however..

Although it's great to have a speed boost, this new ddDLM is becoming a nuisance to those of us who want low pings. Despite very little errors it's taking far too long to make up it's mind about switching back to DLM-1 compared to the old system.
It's stuck in limbo or something.

I am not quite sure if ddDLM is being cautious resulting in some people stuck in limbo as you have said. Believe it or not. ddDLM has been visiting my line every day this week resulting in 4am re-sync pretty much every morning. It is now making adjustment in increment of 1 Mbps instead of 5 or 10 Mpbs increment. It looks to me like it is trying very hard at fine tuning the line now after it has established the upper and lower performance limit.
Interesting thing is before ddDLM my latency was stuck at 20ms according to SpeedTest since I switched to VDSL in March. In the last few days SpeedTest has reported 13 ms latency which is quite a bit lower. Perhaps there is hope for you ...
Interleave depth seems to have no affect on latency.
With Interleave Depth of 100 or 800+, Speednet reports a 36ms ping for me
Interleave just affects actual connection speed, with it at 800+ my actual connection speed is about 10Mbps slower than max possible with Interleave depth of 100
But saying that, before ddDLM came on the scene and Interleaving was off, my ping was 32ms
I can't do much testing with this at the moment as my DV130 is installed in my Battery box ready to go to the road side pillar, days are too short to get the antenna's sorted and wiring it all up.
Currently using my FB7390 which doesn't report Interleave Depth but does have other things to report like latency

So latency won't chance unless Interleaving is turned off, and Interleave depth is used to control error rates
If you have any errors chances are ddDLM won't turn Interleave off
6db SNR profiles makes the max connection speed as fast as it can, then used Interleave depth to control errors by reducing actual speed
I can't see many folk ever having no interleave, I could be wrong of course.

ddDLM does hand out 0ms profiles, i have seen it.
the problem with geekzone is, you don't get volume of connections to look at, i suffer from this tunneled vision some days..

Jase, you are limited to 70/30Mbps due to I take it Ikanos Chipset at cabinet
Max connection at 91/30, your DL connection is not maxed out so chances of CRC errors are lower and possibly why your Interleave Depth is one ?
Need some more folk forward with ID of 1 or zero

I've had a very different experience. I've only had three resyncs in total, with the first two being the first two days after the ddDLM switchover and the last back on page 16 of this thread (23 May). Each has nudged SNR down and interleaving up.
As I still have some CRC errors (an acceptable level) I wonder if ddDLM is simply finished with my line. If so I've traded 45/7 with no latency for 70/18 with quite a lot of latency. I hardly ever game anymore so I can't complain.
