Inphinity:TimA:Inphinity:Pinkfish: Something else to consider when looking at when RSP plans will change is that there are 4 local fiber companies. If the RSP is serving areas not covered by Chorus then they will likely be wanting to wait until the other local fiber companies are also offering those plans. It would likely not be a good experience for customers to be told that they could not get the plan they want as they are connected by Enable, Northpower, or UFF.
How is that significantly different from only offering, say, cable or VDSL plans in areas they are available?
Customer will have to understand its on a different network provider and not theirs.

I still don't see it being significantly different. For example, some ISPs (VF included) offer 200Mbps fibre, but only in selected areas. Surely if "only in selected areas" can be handled for one fibre plan, it can be handled the same way for several fibre plans?
Yes. If they cant get 200Mbp/s and only 100Mbp/s They are out of luck. like our friend Tim over at Outram.
Cant get decent speeds. Just due to where they are and network capability.
