I'm not sure what you mean. I'm getting between 0.40 and 0.64Mbps down during the day and it doesn't get better until very late at night and even then the highest I've seen is still below 5Mbps. The map claims I should be getting greater than 5Mbps.
quickymart: And it's up to 5Mb/s, not exactly 5Mb/s.

This is above the minimum regulated speed for broadband,

I don't think I made the claim that I'm not getting broadband. I was under the impression that Broadband > 5 Mbps meant greater than 5Mbps, not up to. So I was commenting on the inaccuracy of the map, which stated that I should be getting greater than 5Mbps, when that is not the case.

johnr: 32kbps per user over a 15 minute average
coffeebaron: The 5Mbps zone usually means you are in full ADSL1 area, so a step up from a Conklin, but still just as bad once congested. There is no planned upgrade, so best to look at RBI Wireless.

Gractus: Any idea on how much it would cost to replace the cabinet?
Talkiet: It wasn't my understanding that the 1, 5, 10, 20 Mbps had anything to do with expected L3 throughput, but instead referred to the likely xDSL sync speeds. In that sense, the map is accurate in your case isn't it? It says higher that 5Mbps and you're getting 7.6?
Putting aside what you want and what people expect, it's completely unreasonable to hold Chorus to deliver L3 throughput guarantees when they don't have control over the operation or investment on parts of the network required to deliver L3 services.
