Yea true. The tail cost per connection is so so small. They just pretend it's high by using words like "government regulated".

Look at Australia....not sure what their prices are but their new NFB or w/e its called seems to be mainly 50/10.

I'm paying $100 for 100/40... before NBN, I was paying $100 for 100/2.

NBN still sucks tho, before NBN there was no "peak hours". Luckily my RSP is pretty damn good. My original one was crap. I got 70/20 if I was lucky.

Sounds like you are better off than most. I read that they are starting to push 100/10 now after a government complaint.

Well, I pay $129 (incl GST) per mouth (with $300 signing bonus on 12 month term) for Vodafone Fiber Max plan.

$65 (+GST) of this is Choruses take, so more than half my fee goes that way, international costs must be a much smaller chunk.

How many mouths are you paying for?
