We have it lucky here, my brother lives in a apartment building in Sydney where there is an only a 1gbit feed to the basement and VDSL to each unit (and there is 200 units)

gosh... here i am nervous about sharing a 1G link and pushing for a second....

Shin:

Hi,

I used VDSL with phone line for many years with Spark and now time to switch. No UFB roll out for many years at the moment.

Vodafone offers $200 credit for 12-month contract and Trustpower offers $45*12 discount for 24-month contract at the moment.

On the face value, Trustpower is way to go, however Trustpower put 20mb/10mb on the speed indication where Vodafone does not state any specific speed on the connection.

Would the actual connection speed ever differ to what I'm getting at the moment with Spark?

Your thought would be very helpful for next 12/24 month. :)

Cheers

Shin

Sorry but I never read past the thread title.. :)

My opinion (if it counts) is neither one.  Run, run as fast as you can...  CSR's from both camps lack training bordering on incompetence which is compounded by lack of ownership.

I've dealt with many unhappy clients from both TP & VF camps....and could tell a few horror stories privately (3 at least).

Prob not the response you were expecting.....:)
