Hi just a quick note to update my progress on this, I won’t be able to try it out at the CGNET site until mid August but this gives me confidence I can set it up.

Thanks very much, you were right it was quite easy to do if you know what you’re doing, as you can see from my experience outlined here https://forum.tailscale.com/t/experience-from-a-tailscale-install-on-a-raspberry-pi-as-a-subnet-router/5826 it was a wee bit longer than 10 minutes though :-).

@SmurfHk Excellent! A far more elegant solution too :)

 

You should be able to drop a preconfigured Pi on the network and job done, no need to pay for a Static anymore.
