I feel like an imposter with a new badge I didn’t deserve since no outage in Island Bay. You can’t take it back.

Seems to be everyone: I'm in Whakatane and I got it.

The funny thing is that I actually did have an outage at about the same time, but it was just my work PC playing up and wanting a reboot.

I’m connecting from Canberra today and I got it!   But sounds like my Island Bay connection is not down anyway

<phew> that was a tough time everyone. Thankfully I survived it by going outside and enjoying the glorious day that Wellington helped put on for us all..... Or weirdly managed to miss out it on today by being on 2D and somehow missed it.

DjShadow:

Apologies for the vague title as I'm not sure how big this outage is but I've got staff members around Wellington offline including myself on ISPs like One NZ, Quic and 2degreees

Maybe that Aussie Navy ship visiting blasting our networks?

Yes, it was a Chorus equipment outage in Wellington, there will be an investigation and report in due course.
